Drax

Meet Drax, a wonderfully goofy 8-year-old American Cattle Dog mix who weighs about 70 lbs. Drax has been with us for a while and we just can't figure out why he's still waiting for his forever family! He's a big-hearted boy who greets everyone with a wagging tail, slobbery kisses, and a huge smile. He's watched so many other dogs find their homes, and he's more than ready to have a couch to call his own and people to love him as much as he'll love them.

Ideal Home

Drax wants to be the center of attention, so he'll do best as the only pet in the home where he can soak up all your affection. He's incredibly devoted to his people, so he would thrive in a home where someone is around often.

Ongoing Health

Drax is a healthy boy.

Training & Support

Drax isn't the biggest fan of crates right now, but he's a smart boy and can absolutely learn to love his crate with a good routine and training. To help him settle in, we'll provide a sturdy, heavy-duty crate to get him started on the right paw!

Transporation

Drax is currently in Houston, Texas. Out-of-state transport is included in the adoption fee for residents of MA, CT, VT, MD, NJ, IL, OH, MI, WI, MN, MO, ID, UT, OR, WA and the Vancouver BC area. Pickup will be in Blaine or Bellingham, WA, depending on the transport company.
