Lucy, a Shepherd mix who is about 1.5 years old, is a sweet, calm, and affectionate girl who is incredibly smart and eager to learn. She was rescued from a highway in Mississippi after her rescuer saw her running back and forth across traffic. She came to her rescuer calmly and trusting, despite her traumatic experience. Lucy is playful when it's time to have fun and has proven to be an easygoing, loving, and truly a joy to be around. She picked up potty training in just one day and will wait by the door to go out. She is already learning commands like "sit." Lucy is the kind of dog who just fits into your life, grateful, loyal, and full of quiet love.
