Wolfie is a gorgeous and unique pup with a striking, almost coyote-like appearance. He's about a year old and weighs 63 lbs. Despite spending a good portion of his life in a kennel, Wolfie is incredibly people-friendly, good with kids, and shows no reactivity towards cats or other dogs. He's a smart boy who already knows how to sit on command and is very attuned to communication. Wolfie is an athletic, high-energy dog who loves to be active and engage in joyful play. He also has a sweet side, enjoying kisses, hugs, and snuggles, and he takes treats gently, even high-value ones. While he hasn't had the opportunity to display bravery or protectiveness, his love for life, treats, walks, and attention is undeniable. He's highly food-motivated, and while he enjoys treats, he prefers walks and adventures. Like many huskies, he's not a fan of being cooped up and is fairly independent, often finding ways to make you laugh.
Ideal Home
Wolfie would thrive in an active environment with a family or individual(s) who enjoy activities like hiking and are eager to engage with him. He would likely need a slow introduction to living in a house, but we believe he would adjust well with consistent structure.

Training & Support
Wolfie is house-trained and crate-trained within his kennel environment, keeping it clean. He is not messy, indicating he will likely learn quickly with consistent daily structure. He's still learning to walk nicely on leash, initially being excited and wanting to explore, but he does settle down and follow instructions with minimal pulling once he's had his fill of sniffing. He's well-behaved in the car.
