Meet APEXX AKITAS. I am Ron Durant, founder and head breeder of Apexx Akitas, an AKC registered American Akita breeding program established in Sussex County, New Jersey in 2003. Over more than two decades I have placed champion bloodline American Akitas with families across the United States and Canada, with over 150 placements and a program built entirely around health, temperament, and correct breed type. Every breeding dog in our program carries full OFA clearances for hips, elbows, thyroid, eyes, and cardiac, all verifiable at ofa.org. Our dogs are AKC registered from documented pedigrees with champion bloodlines on both sides. We have earned confirmation titles at shows including the Freehold Kennel Club and maintain relationships with every family we place for life.
