Kira

Kira is a beautiful Border Collie, full of intelligence, loyalty, and energy. She's a smart girl who knows her commands and loves a game of fetch. Kira is always up for an adventure and would do best with a family familiar with the Border Collie breed. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she can be a bit reserved at first and may need some time to warm up to new canine friends. With people, Kira can be a little shy initially, but with patience and a few visits, she'll blossom into her goofy, affectionate self! She's truly a "Diamond in the Ruff," waiting for the perfect person to see her inner sparkle.

Ideal Home

Kira needs an experienced owner who can provide her with consistent daily physical and mental enrichment. A securely fenced-in yard is a must for her to explore safely. She would do best in a home with children aged 8 and up. Kira would benefit from patient work to help her overcome her "stranger danger" tendencies.

Ongoing Health

Kira is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Kira may need some guidance in building trust with new people. Patient introductions and positive reinforcement will help her thrive.
