Meet SHADOW!
Shadow is a 45 lb, approximately 5.5-year-old (as of June 2026) lady who is, quite literally, perfect! She's a gem with a charming, slightly low-rider physique, likely a mix of breeds including Labrador and perhaps a touch of Corgi. Her personality is a 10/10 – she's wonderful with everyone, possessing a playful, silly, and human-oriented spirit. Shadow aims to please and has a beautifully balanced nature, being both gentle and fun-loving. She absolutely adores cuddles, belly rubs, and any attention you can offer!
While Shadow enjoys her walks and meeting new friends, she's also a wonderfully chill companion for downtime at home. She's happy to relax by your side while you work or watch movies, demonstrating great behavior and a quiet demeanor. She's fantastic with children of all ages and walks beautifully on a leash, greeting both people and other dogs with enthusiasm and a friendly wag. She's also a fan of the snow!
Shadow is a trustworthy dog who is comfortable being left alone. She can spend from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm uncrated without any issues, showing no signs of separation anxiety and never getting into trouble or making noise. She also sleeps soundly through the night in her own bed. She is 100% house-trained and has never had an accident indoors, preferring to do all her business outside. She has shown no interest in potty pads. Shadow has lived with cats and has had no interest in them.
Sadly, Shadow is looking for a new home due to unforeseen circumstances involving her previous owners' breakup. Her human dad loves her dearly and wants the absolute best for her, recognizing she deserves a stable and loving environment.
Ideal Home
Shadow would thrive in a home where she can be an integral part of the family. Her previous owner notes she is fine being left alone during the workday, but would of course appreciate more time with her people.
Ongoing Health
Shadow is a healthy and happy girl! She is fully up to date on vaccinations, is spayed, and has tested negative for heartworm and fecal parasites.
Training & Support
Shadow is a well-behaved and house-trained dog. She walks nicely on a leash and is comfortable being left alone.
