Gus

Meet Gus! Gus is an approximately 8-year-old, 48 lb male Beagle mix with a nose that leads the way. He was originally rescued as a stray in August of 2022 and found his forever home in July of 2023, only to be returned in November 2023. His previous owner mentioned concerns about him jumping fences when left unattended, especially with nearby gators, but noted he tends to stay put if out with another dog. Gus is very active and knows basic commands.

Ideal Home

Gus is a strong, active hound who needs a home where he can explore safely. A securely fenced yard is a must to prevent him from wandering.

Ongoing Health

Gus is heartworm negative and has been neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Gus knows basic commands and is a strong, active dog. If you have another dog, a meet-and-greet is required to ensure they get along.
