Johnny

Meet Johnny! He's a handsome, lanky fellow who weighs around 55 lbs and is approximately 1.5 years old. Johnny was found as a stray near Lake Hefner with his sister, June. They've both received excellent veterinary care and have grown into wonderful dogs. June has already found her happily ever after, and now Johnny is eagerly awaiting his own forever home!

Ideal Home

Johnny would love a home with a backyard where he can joyfully chase squirrels and keep an eye on the birds. He enjoys the company of other dogs and would likely do well with a canine friend, provided introductions are done properly. While he hasn't lived with children, he could do well with older kids who understand how to give a shy dog the space and respect they need to warm up.

Ongoing Health

Johnny is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Johnny is house and crate trained and walks beautifully on a leash. He already knows "sit" and is learning to play fetch. He can be a little shy and takes a moment to warm up to new people, so patience will be key as he adjusts. Johnny does resource guard a bit, but he's doing great by eating in his kennel, which gives everyone peace during meal times.
