Shelby is a sweet, ten-year-old senior pup who is ready to live out her golden years in comfort and love. She was rescued from a difficult situation and is now looking for a soft place to land. Shelby is a brave girl who has overcome a lot and deserves a kind and gentle human to help her build confidence and blossom. Volunteers describe her as easy to walk, with a nice, even pace and no pulling. She enjoys exploring and taking in all the sights and smells. Shelby has done well sharing her kennel with another dog and has been reserved but polite when meeting other dogs. She would love to meet any resident dogs in her potential new home to ensure a good match. Shelby is hoping for a calm, retirement-type home where she can be a pampered companion, enjoying comfy beds, good food, walks, and plenty of cuddles.
