Daytona is a 1-year-old Husky mix with a big heart, playful energy, and an even bigger love for cuddles. She's the kind of dog who is just as happy chasing a ball at the dog park as she is curling up next to you on the couch afterward. And if you have tennis balls lying around... consider yourself warned - Daytona believes every ball was made to be destroyed. She's house trained, crate trained, and does great with other animals, kids, and people when given proper introductions. Daytona can be a little timid around new people or dogs at first, especially when someone unexpectedly comes through the door, so she'll do best with a patient owner who can continue helping her build confidence and feel secure in new situations. Daytona would thrive in a home with another dog or other animals to play with and learn from. She loves running, playing, exploring, and being included in everyday life. While she has a fun, energetic side, she's also incredibly affectionate and would gladly snuggle up beside you in bed if invited.
