RESCUE STORY - I was found wandering the streets, a gentle giant with no home and no one to look out for me. Life on the streets was tough—food and shelter were never guaranteed, and I had to rely on my instincts to stay safe. Despite this, I've always had a calm and friendly heart, and I never lost my hope that I would one day find a family who would love me for who I am.

Luckily, caring humans found me and brought me to safety. I was nervous at first, unsure of what this new world had in store, but I quickly learned that kindness exists in humans. I spent time in a loving foster home where I could rest, eat, and feel safe for the first time in my life. My foster dad says I instantly warmed up to gentle pets, soft words, and long walks. Even though I've had a rough start, I've shown that my gentle, affectionate personality shines through—I love giving kisses, snuggling close when I can, and making friends with everyone around me.

Now, I'm fully ready for my forever home. I may be a big boy, but my heart is even bigger. I'm looking for a family that will love me, care for me, and include me in their daily adventures. I promise to bring endless love, loyalty, and gentle companionship to your life!

TEMPERAMENT - Don't let my size fool you—I'm one of the most easygoing and affectionate dogs you'll ever meet! My deep bark might seem intimidating at first, but I'm incredibly gentle and love a kind word or a pet. My foster dad says I give lots of kisses to my favorite humans! While I may not always start play with other dogs, I happily join in once invited. I especially love playing gently with smaller dogs (video) so I don't accidentally hurt them. I'm friendly with everyone, including people, dogs, kids, and even cats!

ENERGY LEVEL - Low to medium – I have a calm, chilled demeanor, but I absolutely love my walks. I'm a perfect walking partner: I don't get easily distracted and walk beautifully on a leash without pulling.

GETS ALONG WITH:

Kids – Yes! I'm gentle and friendly with children (video, video)
Dogs – Yes! I enjoy slow, safe play, especially with smaller dogs (video, video)
Cats – Yes! I'm kind and gentle with feline friends too.

PREY DRIVE - Unknown. I'm calm and easygoing but will need guidance around small animals just in case.

TRAINING:

Leash skills – Excellent! I walk like a pro and enjoy my daily strolls (video, video)
House trained – Work in progress; I'll need some time to adjust to home life.
Crate trained – Yes! (video, video)

HEALTH NOTES:

I am spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. I will come to Canada with proof of all my vaccines and test records.
I will be tested for Heartworm etc. before flying to Canada.
I will have dental cleaning, if necessary, before flying to Canada. 

	NOTE: It is not uncommon for rescue dogs to require dental work after they are adopted. West Coast Paws does not cover the costs of dental work and/or vet visits. These costs are the financial responsibility of the adopter. 

ADOPTION FEE:

My adoption fee is $728.00 CAD including tax ($650 + 5% GST and 7% PST), which includes my airfare, if a flight volunteer is found directly to Vancouver.
