Scotty

Meet Scotty! This 2-year-old Pit Terrier mix is bursting with personality and affection. Scotty is an energetic boy who lives for adventure, whether it's a game of fetch, zooming around the yard, a spirited tug-of-war, or simply basking in the sun. He's happiest when he has a yard to explore and people to play with! Scotty is wonderfully friendly and greets everyone, including strangers, men, and children, with enthusiasm. He's shown a particularly gentle and patient nature with kids, soaking up cuddles and attention. Because he can sometimes get a bit too excited and forget his own strength, he'd do best in a home with children who are steady on their feet or with adult supervision as he continues to learn calmer manners.

Ideal Home

Scotty would thrive in an active home that can provide him with structure, consistency, exercise, and plenty of love. He's a big goofball who gets a little carried away during exciting play, but it's never out of aggression. He responds well to correction and is eager to please, showing he's a quick learner.

Scotty is a healthy boy with no known health conditions.

Training & Support

Scotty is working on learning his size when excited and staying calmer during energetic play. He also benefits from continued basic home manners and structure. He listens well when given gentle correction, demonstrating his eagerness to learn.
