Rocky

Rocky is a wonderful 10-year-old senior boy who is ready to find his forever family or a foster home! He was recently brought to us after a fostering situation ended due to a misunderstanding about his behavior with a neighbor. However, in our environment with people of all ages coming and going, we've seen no indication of possessiveness. Rocky is incredibly well-behaved and truly close to perfect. He is house-trained, kennel-trained, rides well in the car, doesn't jump, walks nicely on a leash, and is a very good boy. He gets along great with dogs of all sizes and even does well with cats. While he's well-cared for here, he deserves a loving family to call his own.

Ideal Home

Rocky would thrive in a home where he can receive plenty of love and attention.

Ongoing Health

Rocky is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and on flea/tick prevention. He is heartworm positive, but this is not contagious. To manage this, he has received ProHeart 12, a slow-kill method that is gentler on his senior body.

Training & Support

Rocky is already house-trained, kennel-trained, and walks well on a leash. He minds well and doesn't jump, making him a pleasure to be around.
