Oakley's absolute favorite activity is going for walks, and he's a true leash pro, even knowing when to "slow down." While he tolerates other dogs, he would be happiest in a home where he can be the sole canine star. He does have a strong prey drive and enjoys chasing cats and squirrels, so a home without them would be ideal. Despite a tough start in life as a stray found in a rough neighborhood, emaciated and injured, Oakley's capacity for love is boundless. Transportation
Oakley is located in Houston, TX. Transport is available out of state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles converted for dog transport. Adopters can track the van using the Life360 app and will receive updates along the way. Facebook chats are also available for tracking information. You must be able to use one of these services if you wish to follow your adopted dog during transport.
