Meet Lucy Van Pelt, a 4-year-old, 45 lb Husky mix with a heart of gold and a brain to match! Lucy is incredibly smart, a quick learner, and highly treat-motivated, making training a joy. She's already house-trained and comes microchipped, spayed, and fully vaccinated. Lucy was surrendered due to a skin condition, but with a change in diet and loving care, she's now healthy and thriving! She's a vocal girl who loves to howl when excited, but she's a polite hostess and doesn't bark at visitors. Lucy is devoted to her pack, including her foster canine sibling, and would likely do well with cats.

Ideal Home

Lucy thrives on a structured routine with plenty of exercise, including two 45-minute walks and a 30-minute play session daily. She'd be happiest in a home where someone works from home or with other dogs to keep her company. She enjoys quiet time too, happily lounging on her bed or watching the world go by from the deck.

Ongoing Health

Lucy's skin condition is healing perfectly thanks to a healthy diet. She enjoys fresh snacks like apples, cucumbers, and broccoli stems.

Training & Support

Lucy is a quick learner who is eager to continue her training. She is devoted to her pack and has shown great potential for adaptation.
