Fozzie

Fozzie is a wonderfully weird 7-year-old, likely terrier mix, who was found as a stray in Texas. He's a hoot, and his unique charm comes from having all his teeth recently removed, leaving his tongue to playfully peek out and create a charming "handlebar mustache" effect. While he can be a little feisty when encountering new things (he's been compared to a Star Wars character!), it only takes a moment for his tail to wag and his desire to play to shine through. He's a snuggle bug who gets along great with other dogs. He does take a little time to warm up to men, but a patient approach will surely win him over. Fozzie is sure to bring character, laughs, and a uniquely weird love into your life!

Ideal Home

Fozzie enjoys the company of other dogs and is a big fan of snuggles. He needs a patient adopter who can help him feel comfortable, especially if you are a man.

Ongoing Health

Fozzie recently had all of his teeth removed due to exposed roots.

Training & Support

Fozzie can be a bit feisty when initially meeting new people or in new situations, but this quickly gives way to a playful and loving demeanor. Patience and positive reinforcement will go a long way in helping him settle in.
