Frankie is a 35-pound, 18-month-old bundle of energy and intelligence, a true mix of Border Collie, Australian Cattle Dog, Australian Shepherd, and Terrier! She's a girl who lives for a good game of fetch and has the enthusiasm to join you on all of life's adventures, whether it's a hike, a run, or just exploring the neighborhood. Frankie has been working hard with Gina at Double Down Dog Training, learning and growing in a structured pack environment. She's now ready to find a home that truly appreciates the unique qualities of smart, driven herding breeds.
Frankie is playful, attentive, and very motivated by toys. She loves having a job to do and truly thrives when she's given both mental and physical challenges. She enjoys being with her people and forming strong bonds, but she's not one for constant cuddles. In fact, too much attention can make her a little uncomfortable. Frankie prefers relationships built on trust, activity, and shared experiences.
Ideal Home
An active adult household with previous herding breed experience would be ideal for Frankie. Owners who enjoy training, outdoor activities, and engaging with an intelligent and driven dog will find a fantastic companion in her. While she's active, Frankie can adapt to apartment living as long as her exercise and enrichment needs are consistently met.
Ongoing Health
Frankie is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been spayed. She's had a recent veterinary exam and is microchipped with lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Frankie is house-trained, crate-trained, and rides well in the car. Her training with Double Down Dog Training has prepared her for a new home, but continuing to provide her with outlets for her intelligence and energy will be key to her continued success.
