About Queenie

Meet Queenie, a three-year-old Retriever mix who’s as spirited as her name! At 55 lbs, Queenie’s adventurous and endearing personality shines, even though she’s blind in one eye. She's a captivating blend of energy, charm, and a delightful touch of sass!

Queenie is a true character. She loves her walks but might pause for a spontaneous rest, because, well, she’s Queenie! Playtime for her involves wrestling with her canine pals and soaking up your affection. While she can be a bit shy initially with new people, she quickly warms up and is a champion at rolling over for belly rubs. She has a stubborn streak, especially when it's time to leash up, but it’s all part of her unique charm!

Though not particularly fond of toys, Queenie is all about love and snuggles. She enjoys a good romp in the yard and would absolutely thrive in a home with plenty of space to explore. If you lead an active lifestyle, Queenie would be your perfect adventure buddy! Just be mindful, as her curiosity can lead her to dig or find ways to explore beyond containment, but she’s not one to run off – she just likes to keep life interesting!

In playgroups, Queenie gets along wonderfully with other dogs, showing a playful yet gentle spirit. She enjoys a bit of rough-and-tumble play without ever crossing the line. Her energy level is ideal for an active family who can match her zest for life, but she's equally happy to relax and chill after a fun day.

Queenie is the perfect mix of playful, affectionate, and wonderfully sassy, making her an incredible companion for anyone ready to embrace her unique personality. If you’re seeking a loyal, spirited dog ready for adventures and endless snuggles, Queenie is eager to become your new best friend!
