Cara Mia is a 6-year-old, 11-pound bundle of love who is ready to find her forever home. Her story began with a family who cared for her, but due to a move to housing that does not allow dogs, they were forced to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender her. Through it all, Cara Mia has remained incredibly loving, resilient, and trusting, and she is ready to start her next chapter with a family who will cherish her for life. Cara Mia truly has it all. She is wonderful with everyone she meets, including people, other dogs, and even cats. Her easygoing, social nature makes her a great fit for many different homes. She is incredibly affectionate and loves being close to her people, whether that means snuggling on the couch or simply following you from room to room. Cara Mia is so quiet and well-mannered in her kennel, you'd barely know she's there. She is housetrained and enjoys going for walks, where she can explore and take in the world around her. Cara Mia has a very gentle, calm demeanor, and she wants nothing more than a new family to call her own.
