About Cash Bluey the Heelin Good Time Cutie
If there was ever a dog that fully embodied the phrase "man's best friend," it's Cash Bluey! This handsome boy has that loyal, ride-or-die cattle dog personality that makes people absolutely obsessed with the breed. He's the kind of dog that just wants to be with his person, help you with whatever random task you're doing, and proudly "clock in for the day" like he's your full-time ranch hand, even if you're just carrying groceries inside! Cash Bluey has the coolest personality too; while he's incredibly smart and eager to please, he's also sweet, grounded, and not over-the-top chaotic like some heelers can be. He has those classic expressive cattle dog ears that somehow manage to make every emotion on his face 10x funnier, the best smile, and a loyal, soulful presence that makes you feel like you've had him your whole life after only a few days.
Cash Bluey is believed to be a cattle dog/blue heeler mix, approximately 4 years old, and currently weighs 46 lbs. He is a rescue dog, and with rescue, it's always a mystery, so we cannot guarantee breed or age, but this boy absolutely screams classic heeler personality in all the best ways.
Ideal Home
Cash Bluey would thrive in a calmer environment with space to breathe, ideally in the country, on land, or in a quieter home setting. He's not suited for a busy suburban neighborhood with nonstop stimulation and chaos. He enjoys open space, sniffing around the property, "helping" his person with chores, and patrolling the yard like the important ranch employee he believes he is, before happily relaxing afterward. He truly seems happiest when life feels a little slower, calmer, and more grounded.
Cash is currently fostered in a multi-dog home with dogs of all different sizes and has done really well with all of them. His play style is more about the "bob-and-weave, chase-me-if-you-can" type of play rather than full contact wrestling. He appreciates respectful introductions with other dogs and dogs that aren't immediately in his face. Cash also met our house cat, Biggie, appropriately and was very respectful. He did not chase Biggie, nor was he bothered by Biggie's antics. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for Cash to have a sleepover with a cat upon request.
When it comes to people, Cash is sweet but can be a bit of a slow burn initially in brand new environments or busy situations. He just likes a second to observe and get comfortable first. Once he settles in, his loyal, affectionate side really shines through.

Training & Support
Cash is crate trained, potty trained, and walks beautifully on leash. He already knows commands like "sit" and "down" and is extremely treat-motivated. He is the type of smart, eager-to-please dog that could absolutely learn all kinds of fun tricks and advanced training. His foster home has trainers on staff who have assessed and modified his behavior as needed, including crate training, potty training, and leash walking. He also participates in group training and socialization playgroups.
