Hi, I'm Patty! I'm a sweet, curious, and energetic puppy who is looking for someone to take me on long walks, cuddle with me, and show me the ropes of my new home. I can be a little shy and timid when I first meet new people or try new things, but I warm up quickly once I know what's expected. My foster mom loves my heart-shaped nose and my short little tail – I may be missing a bit of my tail, but I promise I'm not missing any personality!
I'm originally from Texas and I've discovered I quite enjoy snuggling up in a warm blanket, especially since it's a bit chilly up here. I sleep quietly in my kennel at night and I'm making great progress with potty training with frequent potty breaks. I'm eager to learn and would love someone to teach me how to be polite and walk nicely on a leash. I'm very treat-motivated and want to do the right thing, so I'm sure I'll master these skills with your guidance! As a puppy, I love to play with toys, especially bones and chew toys. My foster mom throws balls for me, but I prefer to have her retrieve them. She's also working on teaching me not to jump up, which I'm still learning. I've met people of all ages, including children, and I adore everyone! I do get excited when I meet new people and might jump up to say hello and ask for pets. I've met a cat and was a little scared at first, but I think we could be friends. I've also met some bigger dogs, and I learn from them and follow their lead. I know when they're done playing and I'll go find a toy. I love to run and chase them around the yard, and they seem to enjoy playing with me too!
I'm looking for someone who can see past my initial shyness and recognize what an amazing pup I am. Someone who will continue to teach me manners, take me on walks, and snuggle with me. In return, I promise to give you lots of kisses, love, and endless laughs!
Ideal Home
I would love a home where I can continue to learn and grow. I've been around people of all ages and would likely do well with children. I've also met a cat and larger dogs and seem to be able to adapt.

I am working on potty training and leash walking. I also need to work on not jumping up when greeting people. I am treat-motivated and eager to learn, so continued positive reinforcement will be key to my success!
