Auggie is a winner! This boy is perfect in every way! He is SO friendly, social, and silly. Auggie makes friends everywhere he goes, with new dogs and with new people. Auggie is a wonderful size, only 28 lbs. He is believed to be a Cattle Dog / Lab mix, but likely has something small in the mix too, giving him his smaller size. Auggie has an adorable nub tail and the absolute friendliest, sweetest personality. Auggie knows no stranger, he seriously greets new people like they're his long lost friend. (It's very cute!). He is a kisser, so be ready for Auggie kisses when you meet him! Auggie also absolutely loves other dogs and loves to play. He would be considered a medium-high energy dog, and he would love a home with another playful dog or just with an active family who wants a sweet, small/medium, friendly dog to hike and adventure with. We really cannot stress enough what a great dog Auggie is! It's not every day we get rescue dogs who are total happy, social butterflies! Auggie's story is all too common. He was found as a stray in Houston, Texas, and brought into a horrible, high-kill shelter. However, luck was with sweet Auggie. He was saved from the shelter due to his extremely friendly personality (and good looks!).
Ideal Home
Farfel's isn't open to a home where everyone spends their days working full-time outside of the home. Retirees or a younger family that works from a home-based office would be a far better choice for our wonderful pup. He's a sensitive little guy and we'd like him to get more time and attention than is possible with that lifestyle.
Ongoing Health
Auggie is up to date on his vetting/vaccinations. He is also neutered.
