Meet Phineas and Ferb, a truly inseparable duo of low-riding Exotic Bully brothers who are ready to bring twice the love and laughter into your life! Phineas, the elder statesman at approximately 4–5 years old, is confident and a toy enthusiast, always ready to entertain himself with a ball or stuffed friend. Ferb, his younger brother at around 3 years old, is the more thoughtful and quieter of the two, always ensuring his big brother is okay. Their bond is palpable; they nap together, share toys, and simply can't imagine life apart.
Ideal Home
Phineas and Ferb thrive on companionship, love being around people and other dogs, and enjoy a good playtime with their toys. They are happiest when they can lounge around the house, soak up the sun, and cuddle with their loved ones. Due to Phineas's past habit of swallowing toy pieces, it's important for their new family to provide durable toys and supervise playtime to ensure their safety.
Ongoing Health
Both Phineas and Ferb arrived at the rescue underweight and medically neglected, but they have made significant progress. They each eat 2 ½ cups of food daily and are filling out nicely. Ferb's fur has grown back beautifully on his tail and a small patch on his leg. Phineas had a fungal skin infection on his back legs which has been treated with antibiotics and daily cleaning, and his skin is improving. His ears are still growing fur back, but healing takes time.
Training & Support
These boys are doing very well with potty training. Phineas no longer has accidents in his crate, and Ferb, who thrives on routine, continues to improve with regular potty breaks and adjustment to a new schedule. They are still working on a habit of occasional coprophagia, a leftover survival behavior from their past, which is fading as they learn that food is consistently available.
