About Wally

Wally is a 9-month-old pup who came to us from Puerto Rico and has been blossoming into a confident, loving companion since arriving in his foster home. He is a timid but gentle sweetheart who's learning every day just how good life can be. Though shy at first, he warms up beautifully and would make a perfect pet for a calm, patient individual or family, especially one that already has a dog for him to befriend. He absolutely adores the company of other dogs and gains confidence from having a buddy by his side. Despite being young, Wally has a wonderful, balanced energy. He loves quiet cuddle time, naps, and curling up next to his person while they work. His favorite things include belly rubs, chin scratches, hugs, kisses, and simply knowing where his human is. He's not needy, just loves to be close. And no worries about late-night bed-hogging, Wally is happy sleeping on a cozy blanket or dog bed nearby. When he's ready to play, Wally enjoys zooming around the yard, tossing toys to himself, or joining in with other dogs. He's also up for hikes and neighborhood walks. Wally is looking for a home where he'll feel safe, loved, and never rushed, a place where his quiet charm and loyal heart can truly shine.

Ideal Home

Wally would do best in a calm, patient home, especially one that already has a dog for him to befriend, as he gains confidence from having a buddy.

Ongoing Health

Wally is up to date on all vaccinations and is microchipped. He is neutered and healthy.

Training & Support

Wally is still learning to gain confidence and is shy at first, so patience and understanding are key. He is happy sleeping on his own dog bed or blanket, not needing to be on the furniture or in the bed.
