Biscuit (aka Grubs)

Meet Biscuit, a charming 7-year-old French Bulldog who her foster family affectionately calls "Grubs." She's a sweet, short, and a little pudgy girl with adorable wrinkles and funny grumbling noises. Biscuit is incredibly affectionate and will shower you with cuddles and kisses, making her a truly loving companion.

Biscuit's journey began in an overcrowded shelter in California, where she was a mom. She arrived with one eye already missing, but this is a stable old injury and doesn't require any special care.

Ideal Home

Biscuit would thrive in a home where she can be the center of attention. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she can be dominant and may compete for affection. She would do best as the only dog in the home, or with very small, tolerant dogs. She needs a family who understands brachycephalic breeds and can keep her active with walks, as she doesn't enjoy bad weather and may need some encouragement to go out.

Ongoing Health

Biscuit is on a hormone support chewable, which helps with bladder control. This is not a medication essential for her health but rather a supportive supplement due to her history as a breeding dog. She has successfully lost weight from a high of 42lb to a healthy 25lb and is now at a good frame for her size. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Biscuit is house-trained but can be a bit lazy and does enjoy her potty pads. Supervision will be helpful to ensure she maintains her potty habits. Her foster family has managed her interactions with other dogs by redirecting her triggers, and it's recommended that her adopters provide consistent leadership and monitoring, especially if other dogs are present.
