Groot is the Head of the Welcome Committee and Self-Appointed Assistant Manager of your household! He’s a 45-pound, long-legged goofball who walks through life as if he’s been promoted to a position he invented. Whether you’re making breakfast, taking out the trash, or just walking around the yard, Groot is there to supervise and offer his excellent quality control and morale-boosting services. He's a backyard explorer at heart, and his enormous ears can probably hear a treat bag opening from miles away!

Ideal Home

Groot would love a home with another playful dog to be his best friend. He thrives with canine companionship and would benefit from a buddy to explore, wrestle, and cuddle with. Homes with children 10 years and older are recommended to ensure the best fit for both the pet and family.

Ongoing Health

Groot is in good health and has no known conditions.

Training & Support

Groot is a quick learner with impeccable manners. He is fully house trained, crate trained, and knows several commands including sit, lay down, give paw, "go eat," "go outside," and "go for a walk." He responds beautifully to praise and genuinely wants to make his people proud.
