Meet Gissel! This sweet German Shepherd mix is about 35lbs and was likely born around November 12, 2024. Gissel is a loving and gentle soul who is eager to find her forever family. She was rescued from a euthanasia list and dedicated herself to raising her puppies. Now that her pups are grown, it's her turn to be cherished. She's affectionate, enjoys company, and is happiest when she's by your side. Whether you're out for a walk or relaxing at home, Gissel will be there with a wagging tail.

Gissel thrives in a home where she can be close to her people. She enjoys the company of other dogs and is also friendly with cats!

Gissel is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and has been spayed.

Training & Support

Gissel is kennel and potty trained. She is also leash-trained and ready for neighborhood strolls and outdoor adventures.

Transporation

Gissel is located in Houston, TX. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
