Matilda is a sweet and goofy girl who is ready to find her forever home! She was found on Smelter Road in Amarillo, Texas, and despite a tough past where she bravely battled over 1000 porcupine needles in her face, mouth, throat, and eyes, she has fully healed and is ready for a new beginning. Matilda is food-motivated, loves her chew bones, walks, and belly rubs. She has a playful spirit and a heart full of love, making her the perfect companion to bring joy and laughter into your life.

Matilda would thrive in a home where she can receive plenty of attention and playtime.

Ongoing Health

Matilda has fully healed from her porcupine quill injuries. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Matilda is not yet house-trained. She is food-motivated, which can be a great asset for training!
