Lola

Lola is a sweet and easy-going 13-year-old Basset Hound mix who is ready to spend her golden years cuddling and enjoying snacks. She came to us as a surrender and was in rough shape, dealing with severely overgrown nails, fleas, and an upper respiratory infection. Thankfully, Lola has since received a much-needed spa day, including a mani-pedi, and a full senior blood panel workup, medication, and heartworm treatment. She's a social butterfly who prefers a playpen to a kennel and has been great with the dogs and people she's met so far. While she's hard of hearing, it doesn't stop her from letting out a good basset howl!

Ideal Home

Lola would do well in a home with other pets who have a similar chill and happy pace.

Ongoing Health

Lola is heartworm positive, and we will provide this care while she is in foster. She also has some lumps that will be surgically removed and sent out for testing. We are still evaluating all of her medical needs.

Training & Support

Lola is hard of hearing, so positive reinforcement and clear visual cues will be most effective for her. She loves snacks, so they will be a great motivator!
