Teeny

Teeny is a shy but incredibly affectionate and playful 2-year-old Terrier/Chihuahua mix, weighing between 10-13 pounds. She was found lost or abandoned at a young age and initially wasn't socialized well, but she has blossomed into a loyal companion who loves to snuggle, get belly rubs, and play with toys and other dogs. Teeny enjoys car rides, walks, and sleeping near her favorite person. She needs time to warm up to new people, but once she trusts you, her devotion is unwavering. Her fur grows longer and requires trimming a couple of times a year.

Ideal Home

Teeny would thrive in a home with retired individuals or someone who works from home, as she loves constant companionship. She prefers a quiet environment without young children. A securely fenced yard in a safe area would be ideal, especially if she can utilize a doggie door.

Ongoing Health

Teeny has allergies to poultry in her food, and likely to grass or dust. She is currently managed with an allergy pill, taking half a pill every evening, which costs approximately $30 per month.

Training & Support

Teeny is house-trained and knows how to use a doggie door. She needs time to bond with all members of the household, not just one person, to ensure she feels secure and loved by everyone.
