Barney Delight The Certified Mood Booster

Barney Delight is a 2-year-old German Shepherd/Lab mix who is sure to bring joy into your life! He's a certified good boy with an easygoing, go-with-the-flow personality that makes him a perfect fit for any home. Barney loves to be close to his people, play with toys, and accompany you on adventures. He's affectionate, mellow, and will quickly become the best part of your day.

Ideal Home

Barney would love a home with a nice big backyard for him to roam and relax in the sun. He enjoys the company of other dogs and would do well with a canine friend who likes to play and also appreciates calm moments. However, he doesn't require another dog to be happy and would also be content as your one and only.

Ongoing Health

Barney is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. He has also received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection. He has tested negative for heartworms.

Training & Support

Barney is crate and potty trained and knows how to use a doggy door. He is also a smart boy who already knows basic commands like "sit" and "shake." He is friendly and eager to please, making him a joy to train.

Transportation

Barney is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Transport includes real-time tracking, photo updates, and a dedicated Facebook event page for communication. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
