Ginger Peaches is a delightful 11-month-old, 31 lb mix of what we believe to be Pit Bull and Chihuahua. She's a perfect medium-small size, making her an ideal companion for adventures and cuddles alike. Ginger is a devoted people-dog who bonds deeply, showering her loved ones with affection and making them feel incredibly special. Her foster parent adores her excited greetings, which are a true testament to her loving nature. She truly believes she belongs by your side at all times, and honestly, she's right!
Ideal Home
Ginger would thrive in a home where she can be a constant companion. She enjoys being close to her people and can get a little sad when left alone for long periods. She has done wonderfully with children aged 12 and 16 and, with proper introductions, has the potential to do well with younger children too.

Training & Support
Ginger is crate-trained and potty-trained. She knows commands like "sit" and "shake," and her two-paw shake is especially endearing! While she's social and has been introduced to dogs of various sizes and temperaments, she tends to be a bit shy initially, preferring to observe new doggy friends. She gravitates towards calmer dogs and is very mindful and respectful of other animals. She loves her stuffy toys and enjoys "zoomies" in a yard, but her adaptable nature means she could also do well in an apartment with adequate exercise and socialization.

Transportation
Ginger is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
