About Oso Burrito Boy

Oso is a soulful 5-year-old German Shepherd/Hound mix with a heart of gold and a love that runs deep. He doesn't give his heart away easily, but when he chooses you, you become his whole world. His foster mom is his favorite person, and watching him light up when she enters the room is pure magic. His tail wags, his whole body softens, and this gentle, quiet boy transforms into the sweetest love bug you've ever met. He's a master of relaxation, happy with a comfy spot to nap, leisurely walks, occasional car rides, and his favorite people nearby. Oso is wonderfully low-maintenance and low-energy, not looking for a constant companion to keep him entertained, but rather a calm presence to share his life with.

Ideal Home

Oso would do well as your one and only spoiled companion, but he also lives peacefully with other dogs and has excellent canine manners. He's respectful, drama-free, and content to coexist without needing to be the center of attention. He has also shown promise around cats, minding his own business and preferring to give them space, making him a potential good fit for a home with cat-savvy felines. While Oso is a fantastic co-pilot for errands and adventures, he can be a little shy when meeting new people and appreciates being allowed to move at his own pace.

Ongoing Health

Oso's adoption fee includes all vetting, vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, a microchip, and a health certificate.

Training & Support

Oso is an excellent passenger and rides beautifully in the car. He is a gentle, loving dog who wants nothing more than to feel safe and loved. Patience, kindness, and tasty treats will help his personality bloom.
