Meet Bonbon! He's an adorable 2-year-old Poodle-Chihuahua mix, weighing about 13 pounds. Bonbon has a big personality packed into a small body! He's active, loyal, and incredibly devoted to his people. While he might be a little shy at first when meeting new people, once he feels comfortable, his loving and protective nature truly shines. He may bark to alert you when someone unfamiliar is around, but with a little patience, he quickly becomes a sweet and affectionate companion. Bonbon is a social butterfly and does well with cats, other dogs, children, men, and women. His journey began on the streets, where he was found dirty and covered in fleas. Despite his tough start, his loving spirit remained intact. Now, Bonbon is safe and ready to find a family that will offer him the stability and love he deserves. He'd thrive in an active home with a devoted little dog who enjoys being close to their favorite humans. If you're seeking a loyal companion who's always happy to see you, Bonbon might be your perfect match, ready to leave his past behind for a beautiful future.
Ideal Home
Bonbon would thrive in a home that enjoys an active little dog with a loyal heart. He needs a home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. Families with an open conscience about the needs of rescued street animals, understanding their behaviors that stem from needing protection and education, are ideal. Experience in dog behavior and training is preferred, as is high tolerance and patience for rescued pups.
Ongoing Health
Bonbon has been spayed/neutered, received DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, has been dewormed, tested negative for heartworm, and comes with a health certificate and vaccine booklet.
Training & Support
Bonbon is not house-trained. The rescue team invests significant effort in rehabilitating rescued pets, but due to the large number of animals in foster care, it's impossible to house-train each one individually. Adopters should be prepared for this aspect of his care and understand the dedication required for rescued animals.
