Berkley

Berkley is a joyful, affectionate dog who has overcome a difficult past and still greets each day with a wiggly body and a happy heart. She loves people, car rides, sunshine, stuffed toys, and joining her favorite humans on outings—including trips to Bomgaars.

Ideal Home

Berkley is looking for a safe, loving forever home where she can enjoy car rides, outdoor sunshine, toys, and time with her people. She has not yet been officially tested with other dogs; while nose-to-nose on leash, she has shown no negative responses. Her compatibility with cats and children is not known.

Ongoing Health

Berkley was treated for heartworm disease and completed her final treatment in July. She will need a heartworm retest in April. She also underwent TPLO surgery and recovery. Until September 9th, she should remain calm while she completes her recovery period.

Berkley is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Berkley is house-trained and loves playing with stuffed toys. She is affectionate, friendly, gentle, playful, smart, funny, and quiet.
