Dillard (adoption fee reduced due to length of time at rescue)

Dillard is a sweet and affectionate 5-year-old pitbull terrier mix who has been patiently waiting over 3 years for his forever home. He's a wonderful companion who enjoys snuggling up to watch TV (and share popcorn!), as well as going for walks on sunny days. Dillard is crate-trained, housebroken, and walks beautifully on a leash. He has a loving personality and does well with people and medium to large dogs.

Ideal Home

Dillard would thrive in a home where he can share his love and enjoy quiet companionship. He is not cat friendly. We cannot adopt to families in Massachusetts or Rhode Island due to state laws.

Ongoing Health

Dillard's adoption fee has been reduced to $350 due to his extended stay in foster care. This fee includes his spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, a nose-to-tail vet check, and microchip.

Training & Support

Dillard is already crate-trained, housebroken, and walks well on a leash. His foster family describes him as having a sweet personality, and he does well with people and medium/large dogs.

Transportation

Dillard is currently being fostered in Mississippi. Upon adoption, he will be transported via Barton's Barkers transport services to White River Junction, VT. Transport is provided as dogs are brought to the area every third week after adoption.
