Zeus McGoose has the most amazing ears and is ready to be your new best friend! This handsome boy looks like he stepped right out of a storybook with his golden-red fur, adorable freckles, and expressive forehead wrinkles. Zeus is sweet, fun, and easygoing, fitting perfectly into your daily life. He loves his squeaky toys, enjoys lounging in the sun, and is happy just being part of whatever you're doing.
Ideal Home
Zeus would be happiest in a home with a backyard where he can play with his toys, zoom around, and sunbathe. While he's been great with small dogs, we haven't introduced him to larger dogs yet, but we're happy to arrange a meet-and-greet. Based on his personality, we believe he could be a wonderful family dog for a family with older children.
Ongoing Health
Zeus is approximately 2 years old and weighs around 28 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his vetting, including vaccinations and deworming.
Training & Support
Zeus is a smart cookie who already knows how to sit and has a gentle mouth when taking treats. He is eager to please and enjoys learning. He is crate trained and doing very well with potty training, with very few accidents in the house.

Transportation
Zeus is currently fostered in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. A surcharge of $87 applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
