Meet Shadow, a handsome 7-year-old purebred Husky with a heart full of love to give! Shadow has overcome a difficult past and has emerged as a sweet, affectionate boy who truly cherishes cuddles once he feels safe. He's a smart cookie, too, motivated by food and quick to learn. He's already a pro at using his crate and is eager to please his humans.

Ideal Home

Shadow would thrive in a quiet, consistent home where he can be the only pet. He needs an experienced owner who can provide a calm and structured environment.

Ongoing Health

Shadow is fully vaccinated and up-to-date on his heartworm and flea/tick prevention.

Training & Support

Shadow has food guarding behaviors and does not get along with other dogs. He has bitten in the past when pushed in or out of his crate, but he happily enters and exits with a little patience and a few kibbles. He needs an owner willing to continue positive training methods to help him build confidence and manage his guarding tendencies.
