Hi there! My name is Brownie, and I am a 2-year-old, 20-lb Miniature Poodle who was pulled from the euthanasia list at a New York shelter. I'm vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, healthy, happy, and ready to find my perfect, patient family!

I am a smart, loyal boy who bonds deeply with my human. I will need some time to build trust, and I can get a little mouthy when overstimulated or excited. With structure, consistency, and clear boundaries, I respond beautifully and continue to make steady progress. In return for your patience, you will get true devotion, companionship, and my sweet, sensitive poodle nature. Once I feel safe, I enjoy pets, holding hands, and snuggling beside you. I'm a velcro poodle!

Ideal Home

I would be best in a calm, adult-only home. If I end up with a doggy housemate, they must be calm and not jump all over me.

Ongoing Health

I am healthy and up to date on all my vaccinations.

Training & Support

I can get a little mouthy when overstimulated or excited, but I respond beautifully to structure, consistency, and clear boundaries. I am housebroken and do not need to be crated while you are away.
