Gilbert Satchel is living proof that age is just a number! At 8 years old, this 16-pound black-and-white Shih Tzu still approaches life like every day is the best day ever. Recently transferred from another shelter, Gilbert is ready to pack up his "satchel" and head straight into his forever home. This cheerful guy is full of energy, always up for fun, and loves having a good time. Whether he's exploring the yard, trotting around to see what's happening, or inviting his dog friends to join the excitement, Gilbert keeps life interesting. And speaking of friends, he gets along great with other dogs! Gilbert also happens to be quite the conversationalist. He's a vocal fellow who likes to share his thoughts, opinions, and excitement with the world. Breakfast? Worth talking about. Walks? Definitely worth talking about. Seeing his favorite people? That's a major announcement! With his playful spirit, happy-go-lucky attitude, and lovable personality, Gilbert is the kind of dog who can turn an ordinary day into an adventure. He's looking for a family that appreciates a little extra enthusiasm, doesn't mind a running commentary on daily life, and is ready for a loyal companion who loves to have fun. Ideal Home
Gilbert is looking for a family that appreciates a little extra enthusiasm, doesn't mind a running commentary on daily life, and is ready for a loyal companion who loves to have fun. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
Ongoing Health
Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.
Training & Support
Gilbert is a vocal fellow who likes to share his thoughts, opinions, and excitement with the world.
Application Details:
- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- Adoption fee is $350.
- ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract.
- Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs.
