Sage Cowan

Sage Cowan is a stunning shepherd mix with ice blue eyes and boundless energy, likely with some husky mixed in! She's always exploring, sniffing out new adventures, and she absolutely loves water – you'll find her happily splashing in any pond, puddle, or ditch she can find. Sage is a very attentive dog who walks well on a leash and responds to commands. In the yard, she enjoys a playful game of "keep away" and loves to wrestle with other active male dogs. She's proven to be a wonderful companion in public, too, calmly observing and greeting everyone she meets with a friendly lick. She knows how to relax on a leash and has great manners, fitting right in with any social gathering. Sage is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and on prevention, making her ready to travel for her forever home!

Ideal Home

Sage would thrive in an active home or on a large property like a farm or ranch where she can get plenty of daily exercise.

Ongoing Health

Sage was treated for heartworms and is now on prevention. She was found with glass cuts on her paw after a storm, which have healed.

Training & Support

Sage enjoys playing "keep away" in the yard, so redirecting this playfulness with engaging activities will be key. She is a smart and attentive dog who generally has good manners.

Sage is currently fostered in Texas. Transportation options are available to the PNW (WA, UT, ID), Midwest (MN, WI, MI, OH, IL, IN), or select New England States (NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT) via pet transport partners. Canadian adopters will need to meet at a US location for pickup.
