Solstice

Solstice is a sweet and loving young dog who had a rough start in life. She recently gave birth to eight puppies, one of whom has significant medical needs. Solstice is heartworm positive and is currently undergoing treatment. Her puppies are now looking for their forever homes, and it's Solstice's turn to find her own loving family. She is quiet and a bit shy with new people, but she is eager to make friends with everyone she meets, including most dogs. However, cats make her nervous, so a home without feline companions would be ideal. With a gentle hand and some patience, Solstice will surely blossom into the amazing dog she is meant to be. A calm home with a predictable routine would suit her best, but she enjoys playful moments once she feels comfortable and even likes car rides, though she gets a little nervous. We know shy dogs aren't for everyone, but we're confident that the perfect family for this sweet girl is out there.
