Shadow - ME

Shadow is a handsome 4-year-old, 75 lb Catahoula Leopard Dog with endless energy and a heart full of love! He's a true shadow, always wanting to be by his family's side. Shadow has lived his whole life with his family and is now seeking a new home due to no fault of his own. He's a cuddle bug with people and enjoys playing with other dogs, though he'd prefer to be the only dog or live with a dog that enjoys his spirited play style. Due to missing some key socialization periods, the world can still be a bit scary for Shadow, so he'll thrive in a home that understands his breed and can provide him with patience and gentle guidance.

Ideal Home

Shadow would do best in a home with people who understand the Catahoula Leopard Dog breed. He's great with kids and can live with other dogs, but no small dogs or other small animals like chickens.

Ongoing Health

Shadow is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and has been neutered. His adoption donation includes a rabies vaccination, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test (when appropriate) and preventative, and microchip.

Training & Support

Shadow is crate trained and house trained. He can be strong on leash, but walks with respect. We do require Catahoula knowledge for this sweet boy.
