Goldie is a beautiful 1-year-old pittie mix with a spirit full of hope and a heart that’s learning to trust again. She's a survivor who came to us from a difficult past and is now looking for a patient and understanding human to help her blossom. Goldie is cautious with new people and needs time to build trust, so her ideal adopter will be willing to take things slow and let her set the pace. She thrives with structure and consistency and is seeking an experienced handler who can guide her into becoming the loyal, loving companion she is meant to be. Goldie is dog-selective, so any introductions to resident pups will need to be done carefully. Due to her past experiences, she is not a good fit for a home with children. This sweet girl has so much potential, and she’s ready to share her love with someone who believes in second chances and has the time and heart to offer her the affection she deserves.
