JUNIOR

"Junior" is a charming young male Akita mix who found himself in a tough situation when he and his mom were abandoned in Harriman State Park. Thankfully, the state police brought them to the safety of the Hudson Valley Humane Society, and since no one came to claim them, Junior is now ready to find his forever family. He's a large boy with a medium coat and is already neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Ideal Home

Junior would likely thrive in a home that can appreciate his loyal and protective Akita nature. We are unsure how he is with other animals or children, so he may do best in a home where he is the only pet or where introductions are done carefully.
