Meet Jerry!

Jerry is a 4-year-old, approximately 40-pound, beautiful Mixed Breed dog. He arrived at our shelter as a stray and was never reclaimed. He can be a little reserved when initially meeting new people, but it doesn't take much to win him over; a handful of tasty treats and a little patience are the quickest way to his heart! As he begins to feel safe, Jerry's confidence grows, and so does his affectionate personality. Before long, he's happily leaning in for attention and soaking up every bit of love his favorite people have to offer. If you enjoy a quiet companion who's content just being by your side, Jerry may be the perfect match. With patience, love, and a handful of yummy snacks, Jerry is sure to reward his future family with a lifetime of loyalty and tail wags. This handsome boy has so much to offer and is looking for a family that will help him continue growing into the amazing companion we know he can be. Jerry is guaranteed to melt your heart!

Ideal Home

Jerry prefers canine friends who let him warm up at his pace, but he has the potential to live with another dog in the home. A meet and greet would take place at the shelter to ensure it is a good match. He has the potential to live with a cat with proper introductions. We think that Jerry would do best with kiddos around 12 years old and up.

Ongoing Health

Jerry will be available to head to his forever home through our foster-to-adopt program. Once his procedure is completed, the adoption process can be finalized.

Transportation

Jerry is located at our Myerstown facility. Transportation may be available to approved adopters.
