Hi there! I'm Curly, a 14-month-old Wirehaired Terrier mix who weighs about 13 pounds. While I might be a little shy when I first meet new people, and young children can make me nervous, I promise that with a little time, patience, and understanding, my true, loving personality will shine through! Once I trust you, I have an endless supply of love to give and believe there's no such thing as too much affection. I express my happiness with little grumbles, soft moans, and funny noises that show just how much joy I have inside. I absolutely adore playing with other dogs – running, chasing, wrestling, and exploring together makes my world so much brighter. But what I love even more than doggy playdates is being close to my people. You'll often find me curled up beside you, on your lap, leaning against your leg, or following you from room to room. The feeling of your hand petting me, the warmth of sitting next to you, and knowing I belong are everything to me.
Ideal Home
My perfect home would have a family with lots of love to give, perhaps two or three humans, a comfy couch, some dog friends, and a backyard to explore. I thrive with people who don't mind being loved completely and unconditionally, as that's exactly how I love! I need a little time to settle in and feel safe. I am nervous around young children.

I am neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Training & Support
I am house-trained and sleep nicely in my crate. I am learning every day that the world is a safe place. I just need a family willing to give me a little time to build trust and show them who I really am.

Transportation
I am currently in Southern California and will be traveling to my foster home in Ridgefield, Washington by the end of June. If my perfect family is in Vancouver, BC, I can make that trip too.
