Wynter is a stunning 2.5-month-old German Shepherd mix who is sure to capture your heart! She has all the hallmarks of a beautiful German Shepherd, with her classic black-and-tan coat, soulful eyes, and ears that are just starting to find their perky position. Wynter carries herself with a delightful confidence, knowing she's adorable and expecting to be part of all the family fun. She absolutely loves attention and isn't shy about asking for her fair share of affection. Wynter enjoys playing with her siblings and is always ready for a romp, but she also knows when it's time to settle down for a nap. She's thriving with a structured routine, including regular meals, playtimes, naps, and training sessions. Wynter is making excellent progress with potty pad and kennel training, and her consistent routine has helped her adjust beautifully to home life, sleeping soundly day and night. She has been exposed to children and does wonderfully with them, as well as adults. Wynter also gets along well with the adult German Shepherd in her foster home and is cautiously gaining confidence around cats with positive exposure. Like many Shepherds, Wynter thrives when involved in her family's activities and is looking for companionship, routine, and a place to belong. Her combination of confidence, intelligence, and affection makes her a wonderful puppy for someone seeking a loyal best friend.
Ideal Home
Wynter thrives on companionship, routine, and being an active part of the family. She has done well with children, adults, and other dogs, and is learning to be more confident around cats.
Ongoing Health
Wynter is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vetting, which includes vaccinations, deworming, flea prevention, and she will be spayed. She will also receive a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative and a heartworm test.
Training & Support
Wynter is currently working on potty pad and kennel training and is making great progress. Consistency has been key to her success.

Wynter is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Transport drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). You can track your pet's journey in real-time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
