Meet mama Kelly!

Kelly is a 3-year-old Terrier/Mixed Breed weighing just 13.6 pounds, and she's ready to begin the next chapter of her life-the one she's always deserved. Kelly's story is one of resilience. She was found abandoned in an orchard in California with her puppies, doing everything she could to keep them safe. Thanks to her love and dedication, every one of her puppies has found a forever home. Now, it's finally Kelly's turn.

Kelly is a shy, quiet little girl who is still learning that the world can be a safe place. New situations and walking on a leash are a little scary for her, but after everything she's been through, who can blame her? Even when she's unsure, Kelly remains incredibly gentle. She welcomes kind affection, melts for belly rubs, and sweetly takes treats from your hand with the softest touch.

Training & Support

Kelly may bark at other dogs when she first sees them, which is believed to be uncertainty rather than aggression. Slow introductions to other dogs will be important, and with patience and guidance, she may learn to enjoy canine companionship. She is still learning to be comfortable with new situations and leash walking.
