Slater

Slater is a handsome 1-year-old Doberman mix weighing about 45 lbs. He's neutered, vaccinated, 4DX negative, and crate trained, making him ready to find his forever family. Slater has a wonderful personality; he's friendly, affectionate, playful, and calm with a great balance of energy. He loves playing with toys, enjoys spending time with his people, and gets along well with children and other dogs. Cats have not been tested. Born to a stray, Slater is ready to leave his past behind and become part of a family that will love him for the rest of his life.

Training & Support

Slater does food guard, so he will need to be fed separately from other pets. With this simple management, he continues to be a loving and loyal companion. He is also crate trained.

Transportation

Slater is located in McAllen, Texas. He can be transported to the East Coast (mainly NJ, NY, PA, CT, RI, VT, NH area) with a private transporter once adopted. There are no meet and greets, and drop-off locations can be provided. Due to a USDA ban, there are no drop-offs at this time for New York or Philadelphia.
